Purpose & Location
The purpose of the Ponoka Fish and Game Association is to provide a facility for the recreational and sporting use of firearms and archery equipment.
The Ponoka Fish and Game Club legal property description is NW 1-44-26-W4 and SW 12-44-26-W4. This property is west of Highway # 2; south of Menaik Road (TWP Road 442); east of Range Road 261 in Ponoka County. The clubs main entrance is just north of Maskwa creek on the east side of Range Road 261.
The Ponoka Fish and Game Association is an approved club by the Chief Firearms Officer (CFO) of Alberta, approval # AB-189-C. See Annex A. The club has an approved Trap Range and a Rifle/Handgun range. In addition the club has an Archery Range located within the bush and hills on the club property; and a Rifleman’s Rodeo Range.
